Non-member / Public Offerings
We offer training and consulting services to non-members in all areas of LGBT inclusion (see program outlines at the bottom of this page). Should you require presentations at conferences/meetings, training for your diversity teams, executive or staff or consulting in areas of HR policies and inclusion, please contact us.
Our non-member rates are based on those offered by the Anti-Discrimination Board of NSW:
$350.00 + G.S.T. for sessions up to one and a half hours;
$750.00 + G.S.T. for sessions of four hours (or shorter sessions where travel is required)
$1375.00 + G.S.T. for full day sessions
The above rates do not include any travel expenses (airfares from Sydney, taxis interstate). These will be billed to you at cost and can either be booked by yourself or Pride in Diversity.

Member Seminars/Training
Free Member Training every year
Pride in Diversity will provide every member organisation with one half-day training course per membership year on the subject of LGBT diversity and equality in the workplace. This program is a benefit of Pride in Diversity membership and therefore provided free of change. Training content may be tailored to your Executive / HR professionals or your general employee population.
Free Member Seminars – 3-4 times a year
Pride in Diversity will offer 3-4 short seminars a year open to all its member organisations. Non-members may attend these seminars for a nominal fee.
These seminars will provide you with up-to-date information in relation to LGBT inclusion, introduce you to some of the latest research and enable us to share examples of good practice with respect to LGBT diversity and equality in the workplace. Guest speakers from Pride in Diversity member organisations will also have an opportunity to offer their perspective and solutions to LGBT workplace issues.
Member organisations will enjoy exclusive access to the materials presented at each seminar.
These seminars will also provide an opportunity for diversity professionals to network with Pride in Diversity staff, guest speakers and each other; enabling each organisation to expand its professional diversity network.

This short workshop has been specifically designed as a workplace introduction to sexual orientation and gender identity. This presentation style format engages the audience and can be extended to incorporate case studies for HR / Diversity Practitioners / People Managers.

In this highly interactive forum, we work with your LGBT network group to establish, refine or refresh strategies, engage executive sponsors, plan activities and communications and refine contribution back to the organisation via inclusion and completion of the Australian Workplace Equality Index.
In this session, the group discusses and finalises:

- Executive Sponsor buy-in / activities
- Strategy / Plan for the year ahead

TRAIN THE LGBT DIVERSITY TRAINER
Attendees: Conducted on-site, 1-10 participants
Duration: 1.5 days
Audience: Diversity and/or Training Professionals (1-10 participants)
Cost: $2200.00 plus GST (includes materials for customisation within the workplace)
Less 25% for members
This one and a half day program prepares your employee/s to deliver training around LGBT inclusion. During this time, participants are given a solid understanding of challenges and issues faced by LGBT employees, are prepared with some of the data around retention/attraction/bullying/engagement and are provided with tips on how to tackle audience objections and difficult interactions.
This session will also provide them with an opportunity to present a one hour session with feedback.
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Deliver a 1-2 hour session on Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity in the Workplace
- Understand some of the specific challenges and issues faced by LGBT employees
- Clearly explain LGBT terminology and the differences between sex, orientation, gender identity and intersex
- Clearly articulate the need for LGBT diversity
- Clearly articulate impacts of a non-inclusive culture
- Identify strategies for dealing with difficult responses / objections.
All participants will be provided with a powerpoint pack and worksheets which can be tailored to organisational requirements.
Individuals completing the training will be endorsed by Pride in Diversity as a workplace trainer on LGBT inclusion. Trainers will have ongoing access to Pride in Diversity for telephone guidance and training support.
