Pride in Diversity, Australia’s first and only not-for-profit employer support program for all aspects of LGBT inclusion, and the developers of Australia’s first Workplace Equality Index will be running a one day seminar on how to set up and sustain LGBT network groups within your organisation.
LGBT network groups often start off small with a few dedicated individuals, but to ensure their longevity and sustainability, they do need to obtain formal endorsement and with that endorsement show contribution to the organisations overall diversity or inclusion strategy. This seminar will provide you with expert guidance and assistance on how to set up and sustain an LGBT employee network within your organisation with key tips on how to prepare, plan, communicate, engage and reinvigorate groups once they have been established. An essential program for anyone currently involved in LGBT network group leadership or envisaging setting up a group in the future.
Attendance will also provide participants will a valuable opportunity to meet other LGBT network leaders as well as gain insight into how LGBT network groups are measured within the Australian Workplace Equality Index.
AUDIENCE:
Essential program for LGBT network members, HR or Diversity Managers with LGBT accountability, those wishing to set up a network group for the first time or re-engage network members of an existing group. The day will include an expert panel of speakers and provide valuable information on the “How To’s” . There will also be ample time for discussing specific issues, networking and problem solving.

What, when, where?
When: Tuesday 7th December, 9am to 5pm. Participants are invited to join us for drinks and networking on completion of the program
Where: Hosted by IBM Australia. IBM Centre, 601 Pacific Highway, St Leonards. Participants should go to Level 13 reception
Parking: There is public car parking in Hume Lane and Christie St (opposite Cabana Restaurant).
St Leonard’s train station is a short walk (Direct from Central/ Town Hall/ Wynyard Stations in CBD).
